Digitization Workflow

From field recording to publication, our workflow ensures reproducibility and scholarly rigor. Protocols include micro-CT scanning for weathered inscriptions and on-site audio documentation of oral histories tied to each artifact.

  1. 1. Capture raw imagery (visible spectrum, IR, UV, RTI).
  2. 2. Process and align scans; generate 3D meshes for relief.
  3. 3. Transcribe using TEI-XML templates with palaeographic markup.
  4. 4. Peer review by regional epigraphists; publish via library API.

Field Kits

Download packing lists, consent forms, and lighting diagrams used by our expeditions across Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Nepal.
